Family Dog Training 1 Course
New dog in your life? Having a few problems? New to owning a dog? Skills need refreshing?
Our Family Dog Training 1 course covers basic pet manners and welfare, socialisation, cues such as SIT, DOWN and COME. Among other life skills, we teach how to meet people nicely, waiting at the door and loose leash walking. We teach reward based training methods using food or toy/play to reward behaviours.
You receive:
- 6 one-hour training sessions (with a little homework:) Mon 7pm or Thurs 6pm
- Online Orientation session which must be completed prior to attending classes
- Training material
- Limited class size
Requirements:
- Dog/puppy with C3 vaccination certificate or titre test
- Lots of small treats and a hungry dog
- Closed in shoes
- Positive attitude
Cost:
$120 payable by Paypal or Direct Debit.

PLEASE NOTE: Online Orientation needs to be viewed before attending first class. You can bring other members of your family that want to be included in the training.
If a halti or harness is required this may be purchased at the club on your first day. By buying it on the day you will have skilled instructors helping to fit and acclimatise yourself and your puppy. We don't allow the use of check chains.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the class start time on your first day!
