ESTABLISHED 1961

Brisbane Dog Training Club

A not-for-profit community group developing positive relationships between dogs and their owners through reward-based training.

ABOUT US

More Than Just Training

Established in 1961 in Oxley, Brisbane, we are Queensland’s longest established dog training club and a not-for-profit community group dedicated to training handlers and their dogs. We run regular training courses and rolling classes focused on building positive relationships and developing confident, connected family companions.

We welcome anyone who wants to learn positive reinforcement-based dog training.

Our aim is to create a positive environment for sharing knowledge, offering support and fostering friendships to help people improve their lives with their dogs.

Positive reinforcement

As an affiliate of Dogs Queensland, we host many dog trials a year in agility and scent work. Our club is run entirely by volunteers and we always need more helpers.
